Hey there, kids! Do you like music? Let’s talk about the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! This is a special place that celebrates amazing music stars. Each year, new artists and bands can be chosen to join this big honor. In 2025, a list of new nominees was announced, and it’s exciting! There are 14 artists and bands on the list. Some of them are really famous, like Mariah Carey and Billy Idol. There are also some first-timers, like Bad Company and The Black Crowes. But guess what? No musicians from Florida are on this year's list. That’s kind of a surprise! But don’t worry! Florida has had its share of rock legends. Many awesome artists grew up or lived in Florida. Some of them include Ray Charles, Jim Morrison from The Doors, and Tom Petty. These stars are already in the Hall of Fame! Now, how does someone get into this famous place? Well, first, artists need to have made music for at least 25 years. Then, a special group of over 1,200 people—like artists and music experts—will vote. They look at how much the artist inspired others and how great their music is. The new members will be announced in late April. So, keep an ear out! You can even be part of it. Fans can vote too! You can pick your favorite nominees every day until April 21. Just go to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame website to vote. The big celebration ceremony will happen in the fall in Los Angeles.
