The WWE Royal Rumble 2025 had some things we loved and some things we hated. We loved seeing Roxanne Perez shine in the women's Rumble, lasting over an hour and breaking records. But we hated the pacing and lack of storytelling in the women's Rumble. We also hated the cheap finish in the tag team match that left us feeling cheated. On the other hand, we loved the conflicted allegiances of Sami Zayn and the layers of storytelling in the men's Rumble. We were disappointed with the lack of payoff to months of storytelling in the main event. Overall, it was a mix of excitement and letdowns at the Royal Rumble.
