Feb 06, 2025
In a town called Richland, Washington, there's a special place called Hanford where they used to make plutonium for nuclear weapons. But now, a man named Tim Mulligan writes stories about it in funny and scary graphic novels. Even though there's radioactive waste buried there, he adds ghosts and witches to make it more exciting!
Tim's stories are about a family who moves to Richland and discovers spooky things happening around them. In the first book called "Witchland," they meet a witch as their neighbor. The second book, "Snitchland," talks about the brave people who try to reveal the dangers at Hanford. In the upcoming book, "Twitchland," there might even be a vampire!
Tim Mulligan didn't set out to expose the dangers of Hanford. He just wanted to share the stories of the people who lived there and faced the challenges. Even though there's a lot of toxic waste still buried there, Tim hopes for a happy ending in his stories.
So, if you like spooky and funny stories, check out Tim Mulligan's graphic novels about Hanford and the supernatural adventures that take place there. Who knows, maybe you'll even find a ghost or a witch in your own neighborhood too!
