"Humor matters": Heart of La Crosse returns with sketch-based showcase
Feb 13, 2025
In La Crosse, Wisconsin, a funny group named the Heart of La Crosse is putting on a comedy show! This event will take place at the Pump House Regional Arts Center from February 20 to 22. The shows start at 7:30 p.m. every night!
Why is this such a big deal? Well, the mayor even declared January 26 as "Heart of La Crosse Day" to celebrate them! Lisa David Olson, a member of the group, said this is important because laughter is super important in our lives. She believes humor helps us feel better, especially when times are tough. It’s a way to bring joy to our days – like a sunshine beam in the winter!
The show will have lots of fun sketches. Some parts will be written, and some will be made up on the spot! But if you’re worried about being pulled on stage, don’t be! They only want your ideas and not to make you act. You can sit back and relax!
Each night, there will also be special music guests! So you will get to enjoy jokes and songs! It's a great chance to have a lot of fun with friends and family.
If you want to see the show, make sure to grab your tickets. You can buy them at the Pump House or get them online. This show promises to be a good time with lots of giggles and smiles. Remember, laughter is a great way to chase away those "Winter Blues." So come on out, have fun, and let the humor brighten your night!
