In 2021 and 2022, LeBron picked Russell Westbrook in the Draft, and Westbrook eventually joined the Lakers. Kevin Durant also picked Devin Booker in the Draft, and later, Booker joined Durant on the same team. Giannis Antetokounmpo's pick of Damian Lillard also led to a big trade. LeBron has been picking Luka Dončić in the Draft for a few years, showing that he wanted to play with him. This year, the Lakers and Mavericks made a trade, and now Dončić is playing with LeBron.
